I've recently experimented with surface treatment with bock nib.
I've found some new things out
1. engraved features deepens
2. hammered texturing seen when magnified (can be altered)
3. the slit is affected is well, so i need to take extra care
(below I just did it without care, because I didn't know)

lots of scratches can be seen,
the entire nib is full of scratches, although side scratches can't be seen in this picture.

the rear side was also affected, although not much.
